Our Guest: Ron Gershoni, CEO & Co-Founder

Ron Gershoni first realized the medical benefits of cannabis when his father found it to be the only effective treatment for his chronic back pain. Inspired by this, Ron co-founded Jetty Extracts in 2013 and has since overseen its growth from a local San Diego brand into a leading California extract company. Focused on product innovation and consistency, Jetty has achieved revenue growth in 10 out of its 11 years of operations.

Despite the constant challenges within the California cannabis industry, Ron remains a strong advocate for normalization and a believer in the benefits of the plant for individuals and society as a whole. From its headquarters in Oakland, Jetty continues to advance the industry with its solventless extraction techniques and diverse product offerings. Jetty’s unique Shelter Project provides free cannabis oil to cancer patients throughout California and Colorado.

Jetty has consistently pushed for cleaner cannabis products. The company was the first to offer an uncut vape cartridge and now boasts the top-selling rosin vape in the country, as well as the first OCal (organic) vape cartridge and solventless concentrates in California.

Prior to Jetty, Ron spent a decade as President of the natural deodorant brand Lavilin and managed a multi-family real estate portfolio. He has also worked at BlackRock Solutions and Accenture. Ron holds a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, graduating in 2001.

Ron enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and German Shepherd. His hobbies include mountain biking, practicing yoga, skiing, and traveling.
