About the Speaker: Erik Ott is a co-founder of KO Acquisitions. He began his career as an Associate at the Venture Capital firm Covato/Lipsitz in Pittsburgh, PA in the late 80s. His primary role at the firm included Venture Analysis as well as post-investment business development support to existing portfolio companies. In early 1990 Erik took one of C/L’s portfolio companies into the European market and ran that business in Spain until the formation of a Joint Venture with a Spanish partner in 1992. In 1995, Erik co-founded Rainmaker Capital, a boutique investment bank specializing in Corporate Development and M&A. At Rainmaker, Erik spearheaded the M&A team completing numerous transactions in the technology market.
